The Center for Heirs' Property Preservation (CHPP),
formerly the Heirs' Property Preservation Project, was created in May 2005 to fulfill its mission of preserving heirs' property and history while promoting equitable growth in the Lowcountry. CHPP's goal is to ensure that heirs' receive and exercise the full rights associated with property ownership.
